Hulu is one of the most popular streaming services in the U.S. today. It has a fairly extensive library that includes shows from FOX, ABC, and Disney and their original content. If you’ve been considering getting yourself a subscription to Hulu for a long time, now might be the best time to do so.
Because of Black Friday, Hulu offers subscriptions to some users for a year for just $1.99 a month. Hulu has two subscription tiers a cheaper plan with ads for $7.99 a month (or $79.99 a year) or a plan without ads (with the addition of offline download capability) for $14.99 a month. Hulu offers a 75% discount on the cheaper plan this Black Friday. That way, you can get it for just $1.99 a month for a year.
However, you must understand that the do-it-yourself plan is unavailable to everyone. Only “new and eligible returning subscribers” can subscribe to this discount – if you are currently subscribed to Hulu or were subscribed last month, the deal will not apply.
Other than that, it’s worth keeping in mind that the subscription will automatically renew at the regular price after a year. So I suggest you remind yourself to unsubscribe from Hulu if you don’t want to pay the total price for the following year.
You can also bundle this promotion with another one in the service for a while now. You can add Disney+ ad-free for another $2.99 a month. If you qualify for the current Hulu discount, this will allow you to get Hulu with ads and Disney+ without ads for just $5 a month for the following year. This option will disappear on December 8, 2022, when Disney+ will replace it with ads for $2/month. Anyone who buys it before then will keep it.
