Who makes HP-branded laptops

For more than ten years, HP has not produced its laptops; instead, it has outsourced the production of its laptops to large electronics manufacturers, which can produce and develop new laptop models. It is only in India that HP’s laptop assembly facilities still exist. This is due to the peculiarities of the Indian market; high taxes on imported equipment make it very profitable to assemble laptops locally. For the rest of the countries, HP outsources the production of laptops to OEM and ODM manufacturers.
