One such tool is the Voice Assistant. However, when faced with it, many users get problems because they do not know how to silence Samsung TV.
The voice assistant in Samsung TV can turn on itself because of non-obvious combinations of keys you can press by accident. In this case, you may have problems with disabling the voice assistant. However, some simple instructions will help you to do this on any Samsung TV. Note that for models produced in different years, the instructions will differ. How to disable the Samsung TV voice assistant
Let’s find out how to disable the Voice Assistant on Samsung TV. As I mentioned above, you will have several ways to disable the voice assistant on Samsung TV. It depends on the model of your Samsung TV and some of its features. Let’s take a look at all known ways one by one:
Use a combination of buttons on the remote
The first thing you should do is try disabling the Voice Assistant using the accessibility shortcuts. You can open them with the volume button on your remote. You need to press it for a few seconds, then the Accessibility menu will appear, and there you will find the Voice Assistant, and you can disable it.
Using Samsung TV settings
- Press the Home button on your remote control.
- Go to Settings. (Button with a gear icon)
- Next, you need to select the General tab.
- Now go to the Accessibility options.
- This is where you need to click on Voice Guide Settings.
- Switch the slider to Off.
Note that depending on the model of your Samsung TV and its firmware version, the instructions may vary slightly. However, it would be best to look for the accessibility options tab.
Use voice control
You can use another method if your Samsung TV is equipped with voice control. Press the remote’s voice commands button and say “Turn Off Voice Guide” or “Voice Guide Off.“
Instructions for Samsung TV models 2014-2018

Note that you will choose two similar options, English and English AD. You should choose just English since English AD means English Audio Description. In older versions of Samsung TV, the Voice Assistant was called this.
