Blackmagic Design has officially released an iPad version of its renowned color correction and video editing software DaVinci Resolve.

The interface is more optimized for touch control. Still, it’s similar to the interface of the desktop version. You can use the Apple Pencil to optimize your work in this app.

You can install DaVinci Resolve video editor on your iPad for free. It’s also possible to unlock the studio version of DaVinci Resolve by making a one-time purchase in the app for $94.99.

You can use this app on all iPad models as long as they are equipped with the Apple A12 Bionic processor. But at the same time the description says that for best performance your iPad should be equipped with an M1 or M2 chip.

Apple has been doing a lot lately to make the iPad more functional so that users can have a similar device to the MacBook.
