Bosch Washing & Drying model and serial number lookup

If you need to know the model number or serial number of your Bosch washer, dryer or washer-dryer, it is best to check the appliance itself. Bosch laundry care appliances usually have at least two information stickers, sometimes even three. Here’s where to find them:

Main (large) information sticker: This sticker is located on the back of the washing machine, usually at the top. It lists detailed information, including:

  • Model number (model code)
  • Serial number
  • Z-NR (serial number of the appliance on the assembly line)
  • E-NR (complete model number, including modification number)
  • FD (date of manufacture)
  • Additional information such as fuse rating, spin speed, and others.

Duplicate sticker: Located inside the washer door, this sticker contains information identical to the main sticker. It is designed for quick information retrieval: simply open the door to easily see the model code and serial number.

Third information sticker: This technical sticker can be placed on the side of the washer or dryer. It is mainly used during the assembly process and contains a barcode for automatic scanning. Although it displays the model and serial number in a legible format, it does not explicitly identify them.

How to Find the Model and Serial Number of Your Bosch Washer and Dryer When the Sticker is Missing

If you can’t find the model and serial number of your Bosch washer or dryer due to an unreadable or missing sticker, especially if it’s built into furniture, there are alternative methods to locate this information:

  1. Check Your Online Registration: If you registered the appliance after purchasing it, log into the manufacturer’s website to find the details in your account.
  2. Review Purchase Documents: Look through your purchase documents, as many stores include the model and serial number on the delivery note or invoice.
  3. Image Search: As a last resort, take a photo of the control panel and search the internet for similar images to identify the model.

These steps should help you retrieve the necessary information even if the original label is no longer accessible.
