At the recent CES 2023, there were quite a few computer hardware-related releases. In particular, ASUS introduced several new desktop gaming computers with top solutions from Intel and Nvidia. In addition, some of these devices are very small.

One of the presented desktops is ASUS ROG G22CH, a small form factor (SFF) desktop. Asus representatives said that it takes up only 10 liters of space. And it also has “up to Intel Core i9-13900K, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, up to 32GB of DDR5 4800 MHz RAM, and 2TB of PCIe® 4.0 memory.” The company did not say what size motherboard will be used in this PC. However, unlike the older miniature PCs, it will have an integrated power supply.

The main problem with all minicomputers has traditionally been cooling. Since all the hardware components are located closer together, it is easier for them to reach higher temperatures. The ROG G22CH will be built with traditional air cooling and an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler. Asus stated that either option would provide adequate cooling for the computer.

Also, since the ROG G22CH is a gaming computer, it will be provided with gaming lights. The ASUS press release states, “for the first time, the ROG G22CH desktops use indirect front panel lighting, giving the machine a sophisticated yet distinctly gamer character.” The price and availability of the G22CH have not yet been confirmed, but it should hit the market within the next few months.
